The SME Innovation Leader Workshop is
a six-day event, comprised of five sessions and a welcoming
reception and a farewell dinner.
Session I features an entrance ceremony,
a workshop orientation, a keynote speech on trends and directions
of SME innovation promoting policies and ice breakers. Session
II is designed to introduce participants to SME innovation
promoting policies. The session consists of comprehensive
and specific innovation policies. Especially comprehensive
innovation policies encompass raising awareness of innovation,
policies for SME innovation in Korea and the results of the
comparison study on SME innovation promoting policies in major
member economies. Session III is devoted to giving participants
first-hand experiences on the outcomes of SME innovation through
field trips. Session IV is dedicated to presentations by workshop
participants on the success cases of SME innovation in their
own member economy and discussions on relevant issues with
one another. Session V (optional) is intended to offer participants
a chance to experience Korean culture.
To make the workshop be beneficial to the
participants, much time of all lectures will be allotted to
questions and answers to revolve around discussions.
